- While logged in as your user, browse to the web site you want to add a shortcut for.
- Click the Google menu icon (three dots at top right).
- In the menu that appears, click on More Tools.
- In the submenu that appears, click on Add to shelf...
- At this point you can rename the shortcut.
- Click the Add button.
- A shortcut icon for the web site should appear on the shelf.
